Botany picture #11: Elytraria
Believe it or not, this little beauty is also an Acanthaceae, an Elytraria from Mexico, 2007. Unfortunately I do not know the species name.
this is Elytraria mexicana, and a nice photo of it. I notice that you also have a super photo of Justicia mirandae, which I did not recognize from the image of a living plant (because I have never seen it living); but I described the plant in 1995. Cheers, Tom Daniel
